Attorno a settembre dell'anno scorso vi ho presentato i miei familiari artigiani/artisti.

Ora vorrei presentarvi le mie tante amiche talentuose.

Rimaniamo a Belmonte, ancora:

Around last September  I introduced you to my family craftsmen and women
Now I would like to introduce you to my many talented friends.
I have been thinking for a long time where to start with, or rather, WHOM to start with...

So, since I'm waiting for a tile from Sandra, I'll start with her.
Sandra Sgavicchia is my hairdresser and, as such, she is a very good one.
When she has a moment, together with her husband Enzo and her son Manuel they make real works of art: they transform a tile, a simple tile, into a picture.
No other way of calling them: works of art.
There are many different tiles, all, more or less, decorated, often with the use of decoupage, but these?
These are refined, perfect in the smallest details.
Each piece or part of them... the opening of doors and windows, the shingles on the roof, the chimneys, the window grates, the curtains, the bricks to frame the windows, the tiles on the ground, the steps with the railings, the lampposts ... everything, everything handmade.
The final result?

Dina Pitorri and her necklaces.
Dina is my next-door neighbor.
I experienced her artistic evolution: in a few years, she developed her own genre, her own style, and her creations are original and peculiar.
Dina does not like talking about herself or showing off; for example, I can't convince her to participate in markets and yard sales with me.
But luckily she presents her creations on FB: "Le creazioni di Dina".
Not a usual necklace! It is clear that each piece (never repeated) is made to be worn by herself.
She likes to think about it and create it.
She is in no hurry to finish it with attention to detail.

Let's stay in Belmonte a little more:

Claudia and Daniele Cataldi: A couple out of the ordinary.
They too arrived in Belmonte and created (just outside the village) a ... nest!
A real nest: an old very small abandoned barn, under an immense oak.
They have, with their own hands and their creativity, transformed it into a delightful (mini) warm and welcoming cottage.
They are a beautiful couple who live in harmony because of the many common interests.
They "escaped" from the city and their respective jobs.
They believe in a healthy life, in a healthy diet, in a healthy vegetable garden, in a healthy thought ... etc ... etc ...
Together they make bread, canned jams or vegetables, liqueurs, they take care of their bio vegetable garden.
They also pick wild herbs, and work in their kitchen garden ... they elaborate ancient recipes, etc ... but that's not all!
They also have "two right hands" as I call it.
Especially with wood, they transform it into many, more or less useful, but certainly decorative, nice, cute, and original objects.
I like to imagine them, in the evening, sitting in an armchair with a plaid on their legs and their dog Tartuffa at their feet, tired but satisfied and serene, planning their next day together.
