Come ho già accennato in un mio post precedente, faccio parte del Garden Club di Rieti.
Ogni tanto, e per intimo gaudio, ci piace ritrovarci e "creare" insieme.
Cosí, per la Festa della Donna, decorammo la fontana in Piazza.

Un nostro socio dalle mani d'oro, costruì una rete ottagonale che noi riempimmo con tanti, tantissimi mazzetti di mimosa creando cosi' lo specchio d'acqua completamente giallo...

Sembrava che la mimosa gallegiasse!
Con grande rammarico devo aggiungere peró che rimanemmo un pó deluse dal fatto che per molti viandanti é stato il modo di portare delle mimose alla donna del cuore (?)!
La mattina successiva al nostro lavoro molte mimose si erano...volatiizzate!!!)
Questa settimana, invece, e spronate da un' amica assessore in Comune,
abbiamo voluto decorare alcuni angoli del Centro Storico di Rieti.
Giusto... tanto per... speriando che durino un pó di più!

Every now and then, for personal pleasure, we like to meet and "create" together.
So, for Women's Day, once we decorated the fountain in the main Piazza of our town.
One of our partners a real handyman, built an octagonal net that we filled with many, many bunches of mimosa, thus creating a completely yellow carpet on the water...
It seemed like the mimosae were floating!
With great resentment, I must add, we were a little disappointed by the fact that for many passers-by our flower composition was a way to bring mimosas to their woman!
The morning after all the mimosas were... volatilized !!!
